Speaker Bios:
Ben Saren is the co-founder and CEO of CitySquares, a hyper-local search company featuring neighborhood-level listings of millions of local businesses nationwide.Since launching the company in 2005, Saren has led CitySquares’ expansion from a handful of neighborhood listings to one of the Internet’s most recognized local search leaders. Today, with the backing of several of the world’s most recognized investors, Saren is focused on establishing alliances and developing tools that together provide independent brick-and-mortar businesses with the means to attract, influence and retain new local customers.
Saren has been dubbed “Mr. Local” in industry circles, and he has been covered everywhere from search industry blogs to The Wall Street Journal. He’s a frequent speaker on search, innovation and Web 2.0 trends, and has presented at Kelsey Group conferences, Search Engine Strategies, Local Search Summit, New England New Media Association, International Classifieds and Media Association, and Boston’s Web Innovators Group.
Prior to establishing CitySquares, Saren founded and ran Atomic Consulting and provided consulting services for Internet start-ups and multinational corporations, alike. He also serves as an advisor to other entrepreneurs and startups in the Boston area.

Today, All Things Jeep is a $1.7 million dollar company selling over 3000 unique Jeep-related apparel, accessories & gift items to Jeep enthusiasts worldwide. As a niche website with a customer base all over the world, SEM has played a critical role in the success of the business.
Valerie Sweeney is Vice President of sales and marketing at ERC Wiping Products, Inc. in Lynn, MA. She has been with the company since 1995. ERC is a leading processor and distributor of absorbent wiping and polishing cloths, terry towels, durable paper wipers, microfiber cloths, and pre-saturated disinfecting wipes. ERC Wiping Products Inc. supplies over 8000 industrial, commercial, municipal, institutional, and service related customers throughout the U.S. Customers include Fortune 500 companies, and they span a variety of industries including technology firms, food processors, cosmetics, automotive, marine, educational institutions, athletic teams, healthcare, and hospitality.
Josh Todd
Senior Director of Acquisition Marketing of Constant Contact
Josh has been at Constant Contact since April of 2006, where he manages all traditional and digital media programs including SEM, online display advertising, as well as national radio and print campaigns. Josh has more than 10 years experience as a marketer working in big box retail, internet, and consumer packaged goods industries and has helped to grow Constant Contact from 75,000 customers to more than 200,000. Prior to Constant Contact, Josh worked for Staples, Inc., where he was responsible for guiding the development of Staples’ online advertising campaigns and sports marketing sponsorships. Josh also held management positions at Terra Lycos, Greater Boston Radio Group, and Kellogg Company. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Babson College and a Masters in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
